Liz Reitman

Principal, Design Director

My mantra and approach to design starts with the same questions, what are your goals and how can we help? Our clients inspire us to generate great ideas and to create programs that take their brand further. And our process of listening is a catalyst to challenge how we think about an idea and how to bring the best solutions to our clients. It is the diversity of our studio that instills achievement, uniqueness and cross-disciplinary solutions. My goal for reitdesign is to continue to develop with our clients and to go beyond ourselves as designers. With great determination, our team is constantly challenged, and incredibly satisfied.

Designer

Inconography, logo development, typography, graphics, art, brand systems, periodicals, packaging – design is the norm. The language of design is an exploration that we share, test and challenge in the studio with each other and for every project. Conveying a message from a client to a particular audience, combining art and technology and being able to use a variety of communication tools are what our process is all about. From small things to billboards, my goal is to inform, organize, identify and create lasting impressions.

Steve Skladany

Designer / Programmer

Design is not only about being pretty. Whether it's print or web, if the project doesn’t fulfill its goals and isn't functional, the solution has failed. Design is a juggling act between form and function, left and right brain--especially when Murphy's law applies, battling you from every angle, while the deadline stays stubbornly fixed. (Murphy's law always applies.) As a print/web designer and web coder, I have successfully tackled these competing requirements throughout my career. My approach has always been to relax and focus on solving the problem in a functional and pleasing way.
